Heyho!
I'm doing my plans about WC-VW-Engine-conversions (4 the beginning)...
my plans are to put a 55hp (or 75hp if i get one cheap) polo engine (out of an 86C or a 2f) inside my 75 03... i'll move the gearbox forward 2 inches/5cm, put the waterlines and the cooler with electric fan and a polo heater for my windscreen and my freezing ass in, enlargen the engine bay towards the backseat....
so i'll put the cheapo crappy but fuel economic polo engine inside, drive it (will go worlds better n my 1300 44hp) and save some €uros for a bigger engine, a porsche 944 brake conversion and so on..... will be wc vw or subaru laters..... meybe i'll go Golf/Rabbit MK3 GTI 115HP 8Valve after the polo.... or Turbo? Or EJ22? my work i'll do to the polo conversion will make all that possible...
so what d'ya think? right way ter do it? |

get a fuckin bit more open, wally i know you luv ur aircooled stuff but as i am a pupil and aint got much money... I will start workin in august or september so there won't be much money... and i want power an reliablity and low cost
so fuck aircooled, i'm gonna put some h2o motor inside, even if many won't like or understand what i do.... at least until i overtake em in my waterbug or smoke em on the 1/4
so, enough to that.....
would ya take the polo engine? i heard it takes only 5,5 litres of fuel in a polo, so in a bug, it would be driveable with 6,5 litres? |
