I welded in the Super pedestals to mount the seats I had, but came across a nice set of seats in a gen I Golf.
Does anyone know if the will fit without cutting and weldeing the arms?

I´m not sure about the super beetle but on the 1200 the Golf 1 seat consoles fit, sometimes a little bending is required. The Golf 2 seat consoles are a little wider aprox. 1" than the bug consoles. You can heat them up and bend them to make it fit. _________________ Surgeon General´s Warning: This vehicle is equipped with a turbocharger and may cause spinal injury during acceleration.

I understood what you meant. The seats are a bit wider than bug seats.I had to bend the legs of the seat aswell, not only to make it fit in the rails, but also to be able to move it back and forth. _________________ Surgeon General´s Warning: This vehicle is equipped with a turbocharger and may cause spinal injury during acceleration.
